The Houston City sightseeing tour was good. Our guide - I think his name was Keith - was interesting and well informed. He also used a bit of humour. The trip was just long enough to give an idea of what was worth visiting in Houston. The NASA Space Centre tour was a little disappointing. We were not given much information about the centre. Our driver did tell us to get on the Tram tour quickly which was helpful information. I would have appreciated the maps promised but not given out to enable me to find exhibits easily. There are a lot of amusement rides more suited to kids and they sort of hide the real gems of the exhibitions on display. Overall well worth while - not the least being that to get to the Space Centre independently without your own car would cost a small fortune or quite some time in public transport. Probably worth the price for this alone.
The tour was very good organized - transportation, guide, everything was ok. I'd personally would have had a little more time at the space center in order to do both train tours, possibly at the expense of the non-downtown part of the city tour... watching museums from the outside is not particularily interesting.
We left starting point at 12 noon and did not get to our destination Space Center until about 1:15 pm due to traffic. The shuttle/van we were on, the AC was not working properly mind you this is Houston hot weather and humid. There were kids on board and felt bad for them, ended up opening windows of the van at least get some air in hot air that is. AWFUL!!!
