Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

The staff was super friendly, made us feel welcome when we arrived and were a blast to hang out with. I felt safe the entire time, even though we booked a late trip and we pretty much had the river to ourselves. An extra guide came along in a kayak and I was happy with the measures they took to ensure that we were safe. In spite of the water being super low, (even the upper New River was pretty leisurely,) the guides made it a fun trip for me and my friends. He knew a lot about the history of the area, entertained us with conversation, and just enjoyed the breathtaking scenery with us. The guides were skilled and kept us from getting stuck between rocks or bottoming out (except for one time and it could have been way more, the water was extremely low.) Enjoyed swimming under the bridge and riding the rapids. Tons of fun. Thanks guys!

Incredible time again and we increased thrills this 2nd year by doing the Gauley. My wife loved this experience again even though she isn’t as much of a thrill-seeker. Guides and bus driver were great! May do it again in future and bring more people!!!
