We enjoyed this morning hike with our grown kids and son—in-law. It was a moderate level hike that my wife and I could complete and had some elevation and stream crossings. Breanna and Lovey, our guides, were enthusiastic, knowledgable, and fun to hike with. The halfway point of the 3 hour hike was a cliffside waterfall where we took photos and our guides provided cold drinks and nourishing snacks. We really enjoyed this hike and highly recommend California Dream Trails for a beautiful back-to-nature experience away from the traffic and crowds!

Our family booked the Malibu Waterfall hike with California Dream Trails. Our group of 5 adults and 2 small dogs spanned 2 generations and various ability levels. Preview to the great hike, the drive to the checkpoint took us through the gorgeous Santa Monica Mountains to the coast just as Lovey said it would be! Breanna and Lovey welcomed us at the checkpoint with great energy and huge smiles coming prepared with walking sticks for me and my husband which we requested for crossing the 5 small streams! I highly recommend requesting them if you need assistance with balance. Breanna and Lovey shared constant interaction with members of our group noting points of interest, stream-crossing advice and photo ops throughout the hike revealing their familiarity with the terrain. At the waterfall they thoughtfully provided cold drinks and healthy snack options as well as assisted us with our group photos! The hike back was quick and Breanna was prepared to offer some nearby post-hike lunch spot options along the coast. We had a very enjoyable, successful hike! I highly recommend this hiking business and would not hesitate to book with them again to explore Southern California trails as their business expands! Breanna and Lovey are great people to hike with and you can expect hiking tips, terrain knowledge, planned preparation specific to your group’s age and abilities, smiles and lots of laughs from Breanna and Lovey at California Dream Trails!

We had a fantastic hike with the tour guides at California Dream Trails. Not being familiar with the area, I had no idea that such natural beauty was so close to LA. The guides were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They provided drinks, snacks, walking poles, and acted as our group photographers. The whole experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend for a team outing or an afternoon with the family
