The cemetery tour was the best part. We were able to get out and get a brief walking tour of the cemetery. The bus tour was informative but one word of advice: Sit on the DRIVER SIDE of the bus, particularly if you want photos. I would say over 90% of the locations pointed out were on the driver's side I (of course!) was on the other side. :-( It would also have helped me to have been able to compare the areas the guide spoke about to a NOLA area map since we are first-timers here. Perhaps a paper map with some numbers that match the references used in the tour? Darren was very kind, helping all of the ladies up and down the steps at our stops. Kate was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. 2.5 hours flew by. One note: Parking in the lighthouse area was convenient but very expensive! Three hours = $43. For those able to do a little walking, check out the bus/streetcar schedules!

Took the New Orleans City & Cemetery Tour today with Elizabeth and Darren. Darren was a wonderful driver and got us everywhere safely, while Elizabeth was absolutely hilarious and extremely knowledgable about the city, its history and more. Would definitely recommend this tour, especially with these two!! Thank you, Elizabeth & Darren!!

We had such a great time on the tour! We went for my mom's 60th birthday and our guide made sure we knew about the dollar bill tradition, and even gave her her first dollar to start it off! Our guide Gail was so knowledgeable and her storytelling was absolutely enchanting- you could tell she was a history teacher! Our bus driver Donald was awesome- made sure we got all the pics we needed while driving!
