49

Our guide was great and had so much knowledge on the food and culture of the city. Every place we visited was wonderful and all was done on time, even with a rain storm in the middle.

This food tour was the highlight of our trip. This tour takes you to several iconic French Quarter restaurants (several of which open early just for this tour) for an afternoon of food, drinks, and history. The tour guide, Nate, was not only personable and knowledgeable, he literally had a degree in historic foodways - or the study of why we eat what we eat. He not only was able to give you the history behind some of the traditional NOLA foods (as you are eating them) but was able to give some great cooking tips too! The tour included enough food that we didn't need dinner after, but was paced with time between each food stop we didn't feel overly full at any point. We will absolutely do this tour again the next time we are in NOLA
