This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Loved all the beautiful flowers especially the fragrant jasmine. Interesting tour of an old cemetery, many houses of famous people. Our guide, Libby was a wealth of information and shared so much interesting history in a concise way that helped me understand New Orleans as a new visitor. She even helped me navigate using the street car back to my hotel!

Josh did a great job on the tour of the Garden District! He gave lots of interesting info, but didn’t overwhelm the group with details. Would highly recommend!

Yvonne, our tour guide, was a pro. From basic stuff like steering us to shady locations, being aware of the many other walking tours out there, reminding her group to use the restrooms, get drinks, look down and watch our steps on uneven pavement, all the way to a historical review of residential properties, area history and cemeteries. She covered so much information and had a real native's pride in her town. Peppering the phrase 'y'all' throughout her tour, it felt like having a great friend show us around. She really loves what she does - 10 years experience by the time we met her and no signs of slowing down. These are very reasonably priced tours - we also used Lucky Bean for a historical French Quarter walk which was also very good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also, with this particular area of New Orleans, you've GOT to have a tour guide otherwise it would just be a meaningless stroll around an old neighborhood.
