Our guide John S. for the Killers and Thrillers Tour was very knowledgeable in the town and history. Great charisma and made it fun through out the tour, when I return to New Orleans I really hope to get him again for the other sets of tours as I know it will be worth the money and enduring the cold weather. I like how he would talk about recent News about the area or the site we visited and his own experiences; really made it be known that he enjoyed his tour an didn't feel like if he was reading a script. One thing that stood out to me was that he would provide evidence (i.e. books) that he has personally researched to credit this tour rather than retelling "stories" that he has heard just for the sake of upping the creep factor. He showed us that New Orleans is not just a story made up by its history ,but a place of peoples daily experiences and that ours is also a story :)

The Killers and Thrillers tour was great. Our guide made the tour entertaining with his humor and we were able to stop at a local bar for a mid-tour drink. I learned so much information about New Orleans that I never would have without this walking tour! The historical and unique tour is something I would highly recommend.

“Maria was the master storyteller, the It girl, of the Killers and Thrillers tour. Our family all enjoyed it immensely. Maria wove a tale in such a way that you felt you were there; you became emotionally involved with the victims and wanting to know more. This was the best experience we had in New Orleans and we had a lot of good experiences. My mother in law had to use a mobility scooter and our guide went out of her way to make sure she was safe and had a clear path. My mother in law is also hard of hearing and was able to understand because Maria made sure she was always close to her. Excellent tour, worth every penny!!”
