Our group enjoyed the Killers and Thrillers Tour as a lark. We have taken similar tours in other cities, and we expected silly street theater. I don’t normally write reviews but we had such a good time I decided to break my own rules. We were very pleasantly surprised by our guide Michael. No hokey costumes and with a phenomenal knowledge of New Orleans. Much of the tour was drawn from his own research in the various archives within the city. That gave a far greater depth to the tour. The tour covered the colonial period up to modern day. Michael’s presentation was superb adding a wealth of details about the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter as we walked along. Michael made certain that we could hear him (he has a deep voice). He was polite, pleasant, and thoroughly enjoyable. What we truly appreciated was his cutting through the myths and legends of New Orleans. His archival research certainly shined through here. He dispelled the myths and legends around the LaLaurie Mansion, Michael informed and entertained the entire group. I heartily recommend Michael and the Killers and Thrillers tour.

Christian was a great leader. He knew a lot of information. He had every date and detail locked in. Pro tip, walk next to the guide so you can ask other questions. Lots of fun on a chilly NOLA night.
