The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

It was almost a great ride but the last bus we rode, the driver was shouting at the people in the bus. He even missed the stop we were supposed to go off and had us walk 10 blocks to get to Empire State Building. My dad was so mad because he was shouting at us. I have children with me so that was even more disturbing. He is one of the Asian bus drivers. That was around 5:30pm. I hope you can do something about that because it’s not good for business having someone like that driving tourists around. Otherwise, the bus ride was ok.

No live guides and audio isn’t even most of the trip. Most of the trip audio is music. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. I also did topview and this was better.

At the moment, we only have live guides on our Sunset tour. Our day time tours only have pre-recorded commentary which is availab le in 5 different languages. We encourage our guests to ask any of our staff members for any local tips and information that is not covered on the tour. They are always happy to help answer all questions. We hope you still were able to enjoy the sights while in New York and thank you for your feedback.

The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. The buses from Big Bus tours left a lot to be desired. While waiting in a line of 50 or so people at the Battery Park stop. No less then 3 different buses came by with no seating in the bottom of the bus because they didn’t have the air conditioning. That extended our stay in the area by 45 minutes which was not pleasant because it was very hot that day.

Hello Ryan! Big Bus Tours only operates open-top double decker buses which connect to the outdoors. Due to this, we apologize we are unable to offer air conditioning/heating on our buses. We encourage our guests to prepare in advance of your tour as we do operate in all weather conditions. If needed, we can offer a travel date change if weather is unfavorable to our guests. We invite you to give it another shot in a different city or in New York. Have a wonderful weekend!
