The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

This experience was great! The stops aren't the easiest to find, so you want to make sure get back on the bus where you get dropped off. The audio tour is good too. We had a little trouble understanding how the ferry tour worked, but Ibrahim came to the rescue and answered all of our questions. He spent extra time with us printing out tickets we needed and gave us some pointers on how to get where we needed even faster. Without Ibrahim I'd rate this a 4, but because of his helpfulness, Im giving a 5!

Did not give 5 stars because we were not able to use the Empire State Building portion due to the inability to find a Big Bus representative after 4:30 pm to print the tickets. A Big Bus representative advised us not to print a reservation because it was better to view the City at night and we would have a better chance of not missing the reservation time if we waited to print the tickets at the end of the day; we were told we could come back to the exact location before 5:00, however when we arrived at 4:30 pm, we were not able to find a representative that had the equipment needed to print our tickets. We went to Empire State Building and they were not able to redeem anything with the QR code. A greeter from the Empire State Building actually walked us to a corner near the Empire State Building where there should have been a Big Bus representative-we waited over 20 minutes and never saw anyone. The Big Bus was great and the Statue of Liberty was awesome….the price I paid for the Empire State Building for 5 people was approx $150 and was a total loss.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE I repeat DO NOT USE this company to hop on/off in NYC. It was my husband and my mom's Birthday, they ruined it with their absolutely super mega BAD SERVICES! I waited a few days to write this review because I knew it was not going to be a nice one. We redeemed our tickets for Bus HOHO, Statue of Liberty & Empire State at the First Bus Stop as we were told even when we booked our date and time online as it was required after we purchased the tickets and were given a confirmation that shows that we just needed it to go directly to the attractions line and show the confirmation we printed at the time of the online booking (please see picture). After Tickets were redeemed (Rep insisted that printed confirmation won't work) with the Big Bus Rep at First Stop by M&M world in NYC, the attendant told us that we couldn't take the bus because we were going to be late to the Statue of Liberty Security Checkpoint and they wouldn't let us in, we decided to take a taxi to try to arrive ontime, we arrived 5-10 minutes after our booking time, ran like 'Forrest Gump" with my mom which is 76 years old and finally once we got to the Security Checkpoint, they just scan our tickets and let us in to the Ferry to Statue of Liberty, that was it! They don't check your time, validate the ticket to enter. After we were back from Statute of Liberty we had to walk to whatever place/attraction we were going because the BIG BUS never stop on any of the stops we were waiting and waiting, we literally walk the entire day, never used the bus tickets, my mom couldn't walk anymore, we had to take a taxi to the Empire State, once at Empire State Observatory, the attendant scanned our tickets (previously redeemed) and told us those tickets were VOIDED, yes, VOIDED, which mean we couldn't enter, unable to get any help since as others wrote on their reviews, there is no Customer Service Phone Number, only the chat option and they were not available at the time, we waste our time and money, we went back to the hotel with 8 HOHO unused tickets & 8 Empire State unused Tickets, $800 worth approx.. I have been waiting in the chat for about four days now and they have no giving me any answers. I would like to ask TRIPADVISOR to remove this company from their listing and make BIG BUS TOURS stop ripping people off!!
