New York City Fall Foliage Brunch Cruise

Step aboard the yacht Manhattan or Manhattan II - both cozy, elegant, 1920s-style yachts and enjoy an autumnal brunch while cruising on the tree-lined, scenic Hudson River toward the Palisade Cliffs, one of New York's most dramatic geological features. Enjoy views along the Upper West Side of Manhattan as the boat cruises north. Admire the fall leaves in all their splendor (nature permitting) through the boat's heated, main observation cabin with wrap-around windows, or from the open bow. Each party is assigned comfortable seating in the grand salon.

This cruise includes a 3-course prix fixe brunch served in a hybrid fashion of both family-style and buffet with pastries, NY bagels, smoked salmon, frittata, a premium breakfast meat, Fall seasonal salad and assorted desserts and fruit.

  • Peak fall foliage is not guaranteed. We have seen fall colors at their peak as early as mid-October and as late early December along the waterfront in the Palisades of New Jersey (the prime destination of our fall foliage excursions). Refunds due to ‘lack of color’, will not be honored. Cruising on the Hudson River, north by the Palisades, is a unique and interesting route and is the declared value of this excursion.

  • Only animals that perform a manual task to assist a person are permitted aboard. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted
  • Large group bookings are not permitted. Multiple bookings are subject to added fees or cancellation by operator

Our adult family took this cruise on a beautiful sunny day. The weather could not have been nicer and the NJ view of the natural Palisades did not disappoint. The boat is relatively small, and I am guessing they pack in maximum capacity, because the boat is about 20% too crowded for our tastes. Be prepared to sit at large U-shaped tables suitable for 8- 10 people with more chairs at the ends. The food was good, but the serving area is very narrow, so the buffet is a little awkward to navigate and some people do get a bit territorial. The bar pours hefty drinks and serves decent hot coffee. As the boat is really a floating restaurant, there is only the bow area to go outside, but the windows by the tables do open. We are glad that our adult family wanted to go on this brunch cruise, but my husband and I prefer more open spaces. So next time, we will forego the brunch, and take a cruise with a little bit more walking room and bring our own refreshments. My compliments to the captain, who safely navigated the boat and to the staff who did an outstanding job given the number of people onboard. They were kind, helpful and patient. They all deserve hefty tips, so if you go, don't forget about their hard work!

The crew and Captain were very professional, courteous and fun! the brunch food was really good. The Hudson views were amazing.... Drinks were awesome too! I would definitely recommend and go again.
