The cruise itself was great and the views were amazing, and the building and historical information given by the guide was great. However, the guide spent a lot of time talking about how essentially New York was a decaying city and everyone was moving to New Jersey. There's a time when I thought he might be a plant for some kind of New Jersey housing authority bureau! He also needed to get in quite a few jobs at the "1%" and their housing. And finally, and probably weirdest of all, he went on this long tirade at the beginning about how the captain leaves late, and then the boat needs to go too fast and so he can't give the proper information, and then he gets bad reviews and gets scolded by his managers for the bad reviews that really aren't his fault. Friend, this is not the place to air your dirty laundry or your company's dirty laundry. Those three things combined just added a lot of negative cynicism to the mood that was not what I was looking for.
