Ничто так не говорит о Рождестве, как Дайкер-Хайтс, самая известная выставка огней на планете. Местные жители украшают свои дома - лично и профессионально - с 80-х годов, превращая его в настоящую зимнюю страну чудес Нью-Йорка.

ТУР ПРОЙДЕТ В ДОЖДЬ или СОЛНЦЕ!

Поездка из Мидтауна в Дайкер-Хайтс в Бруклине находится около часа на борту нашего комфортабельного автобуса, полностью отапливаемого с туалетом на борту.

Ваш гид сопроводит вас в дом Люси Спата, дом, с которого началась эта традиция, и проведет вас через самые освещенные улицы, прежде чем отвезти вас обратно в автобус. Вы проведете около часа в Дайкер-Хайтс, прогуливаясь и фотографируя.

Следующая остановка будет у подножия Бруклинского моста в районе ДАМБО/Бруклин-Хайтс в Бруклине. У вас будет около 25 минут, чтобы сфотографировать захватывающий дух горизонт Манхэттена и мост.

We not only got a from-the-sidewalk look at the Dyker Heights displays, but also a fine across-the-Hudson view of the nighttime NYC skyline. I also appreciate getting dropped off just a few blocks south of Rock Center, so I got to see that too. :)

What a way to get into the Christmas spirit! Beautiful homes, beautiful displays. So much fun! The bus ride back to the Brooklyn Bridge was a treat with photo ops.

The lights themselves were amazing - but only having an hour to walk around and see everything is not long enough at all. I would say you need at least 90 minutes, if not 2 hours to walk around and see everything. Because there’s only an hour it’s all a bit rushed trying to get by all the ‘key’ houses, which is difficult given the multiple different tours happening at the same time. I would also say that only having one tour guide with a group of 50 people is madness - like I said, there’s at least 2-3 other tours happening around the same time on small streets - it’s a lot of people. Our tour guide had a flashing headlight but I lost her in the first 10 minutes due to the crowds and wanting to actually stop and look at the lights rather than briskly walking by them all. All in all a good tour but given the cost and that 50% of the time is spent in transit, it would be vastly improved with some minor adjustments. The bus was a good size and comfortable for this type of tour. There was a bathroom at the back which is useful when travel time is about an hour each way.
