Enjoy a fall foliage cruise aboard Yacht Kingston, a cozy, elegant, 1920s-style yacht with an observation cabin and open bow. See the grand foliage of the Palisade Cliffs on the Hudson River (nature permitting). Relax in the salon of the boat's window enclosed observatory, or while catching the breeze on the open bow. Grab a hot beverage from the bar and gaze at New York's most dramatic natural wonders and colorful foliage as the seasons change. Light commentary will be provided as the boat cruises north along the Hudson River. Seating is assigned in the covered and heated salon with large windows. *Please note that although the boat is heated, it is also drafty and we advise you to bring layers, hats & gloves.

Peak fall foliage is not guaranteed. We have seen fall colors at their peak as early as mid-October and as late early December along the waterfront in the Palisades of New Jersey (the prime destination of our fall foliage excursions). Refunds due to ‘lack of color’, will not be honored. Cruising on the Hudson River, north by the Palisades, is a unique and interesting route and is the declared value of this excursion.
Large group bookings are not permitted. Multiple bookings are subject to added fees or cancellation by operator

Having traveled aboard large cruise ships, taking the American Cruise Line ship was most refreshing. No crowds, Just enough fellow travelers to make many acquaintances, potential friends. First trip was over the Chesapeake Bay, which is why we tried the Hudson. Each was quite nice with many stops of interest. This time, we tried a regular stateroom; for us the bathroom was too tight for him because my husband is so tall. Food was five star...but whoever loses weight eating at each meal with great desserts, anytime snacks, and friendly social hours? I did!!! Both of us are handicapped, but handled most every stop. Had such pleasure, am planning our next trip! An anniversary trip!

The yacht has an open area so every seat has a fantastic view of the shores. The crew couldn’t have been nicer and the trip was pleasant and relaxing.

Great scenery of New York skyline. Wonderful staff. Would recommend for anyone. We will go again. Loved the bean bags on the deck and enjoyed the libations and snacks.
