The Birthplace of Hip Hop tour in New York was great. We were guided by Reggie Reg, one of the originals, and he had lots of energy and lots of knowledge about the origins of hip hop. We saw a lot of places along the way that were interesting, the graffiti wall, Apollo Theatre, the site of the first hip hop party, Spanish Harlem, the Bronx..... I loved learning the basic dance routine from Mouse. The bus was comfortable but they need to get the mic fixed as the sound was rather crackly. The place they took us for lunch was great. I’d definitely recommend Hush Tours.

This is a GREAT Tour!!! From our tour guides, Rayer and the famous Sadat X of Brand Nubian, they show us where and how it got start!!! From the DJ, first Hip-Hop Party, break dancing routines and the fashion style of that time!!! We rocked along the way as we learned the history of this worldwide culture that began in the boroughs of New York City, with the help of our driver Manny!!! My girls and I from Los Angeles had a wonderful time learning our New York history of Hip-Hop even though we were born and bred in it, from the Westside that is!!! We also had a chance to see some famous movie spots like “The Carter” from New Jack City. We really enjoyed our day!!! I had a chance at 52 yrs old to learn some break dance moves in the famous Arthur Park, meet Grand Puba of Brand Nubian on the streets of Harlem and buy a bottle wine from Bro. Sadat X!!!! Great time and can’t wait to return to do the Brooklyn tour!!! See you soon Hush Tours!!!

We enjoyed the tour a lot. The guide made a very good show and told us fascinating storys and facts. When he started to sing that old Grandmaster Flash song it was overwhelming - in that very moment, with the new knowledge of the Bronx´s history - to understand the meaning of the lyrics of that song I used to dance on thirty years ago... Wow! My son also enjoyed the tour because our guide knew also to tell us a lot about the ongoing music scene.
