Absolutely comprehensive hip hop history delivered the day we took this tour courtesy of Grandmaster Caz, the C-A-S AN the O-V-A who had his rhymes robbed by Big Bank Hank of The Sugar Hill Gang for hip hop's breakthrough hit, 'Rapper's Delight'. He'll tell you that sad story, but he won't dwell for too long, telling you tales of hip hop's early days, explaining the four elements of hip hop in a funny and interactive way, all the while giving you a wonderful tour of NYC itself through a hip hop lens. You'll see Harlem World, where Caz's group The Cold Crush had their famous battle with the Fantastic Five in 1981, 1520 Segdwick Ave where Kool Herc threw the first hip hop party, Yankees Stadium, with Caz as your charismatic and informative host. Recommended for hardcore hip hop heads and the simply curious alike, this tour is absolute gold.
