We eat our way through the charming, iconic and extremely delicious neighborhood of Greenwich Village. As we walk and eat you will see vestiges of the original Dutch settlement and early British influences still visible today. Your three-hour tour will unlock secret food havens nestled throughout this beautiful enclave and you will discover the hidden history found around every corner. As we take a stroll back through time, we will uncover the origins of some of New York's quintessential foods and how they have evolved into the delicious morsels we will indulge in today.

In addition, as with all of our tours, there is our Secret Dish, which will be revealed on the day of your tour.

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

We strongly advise wearing comfortable walking shoes to all of our guests. Our tour runs a little over 3 hours.
We do walk about 3 miles during the NYC tour, and our pizza stop has a couple of steps up at the entrance. All other stops are fully wheelchair accessible.

The High Line

A 1.45-mile-long (2.33 km) elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. It’s a public space where you can view art, walk through gardens, experience a performance, savor delicious food, or just connect with friends and neighbors—while enjoying a unique perspective of the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Emmaline was awesome , great history and the food was amazing. We would recommend just heard anyone. We will try secret tours in Italy

We did a secret food tour of Greenwhich Village in New York City and our tour guide Emmeline was simply the best. We were saying after that it felt like she was a close friend of ours and she is the type you of person you would want to hang out with. We felt comfortable with her, she made us laugh and we loved the interesting history obviously along with the amazing food. You can tell she genuinely enjoyed what she does. Thank you Emmeline! Great food, delightful tour guide, great area of the city! Nicky took my 3 teen girls plus me around for a great tour of the city, including the Friends apartment which delighted all of us. We had great food (didn't even finish it all there was so much!) and we eft stuffed. Nicky kept the conversation going and didn't get too deep into history which fit our group well- although I could tell there was a lot MORE he could have said on the tour, but he tailored it to our needs- the sign of a great guide. The 'secret' food stop was the best of the trip according to one girl and we also stopped back and bought several more treats for later in the day. Food tours are my favorite way to see cities, try new things, and learn about stuff otherwise you'd miss- this group does a great job!
