Sarah was great we were a little disappointed at the choices of restaurants we were expecting more seafood being in newport by the water

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We have been billing our tours as a neighborhood food tour which shows the more local and diverse side of Newport. This neighborhood does not have any seafood restaurants in it. There are plenty of places to get seafood in the more touristy sections of town though. Our goal is to take you off the beaten path where the locals go, everyone knows that is where the best foodie finds are ;). We're sorry you were disappointed, however, we do list our restaurants on the website which are clearly not seafood establishments. Thank you for taking our tour!

The food tour included six stops with varied food offerings, including beef, pork, cheese melt on bread, a mini smoothie( my least favorite stop ), and a dessert. Our tour guide,Morgan, tried way too hard to be funny. She also took us to the hotel where she works & spent about ten minutes telling us about all of the hotel’s amenities & why we should go there. I thought that was an inappropriate ten minute discussion. All in all, glad that we did it.

Thank you Marilyn for taking the tour with us. I recognize that not everyone always hits it off with everyone, and what is funny to some may not be funny to others. But I must say Morgan has been with us for 3+ yrs and most everyone that has had her on the tour has described her favorably, using words such as entertaining, delightful, a hoot and fun as evidenced in her many reviews. Regarding the hotel you are speaking about, not only was it on our tour previously but it also has quite a fascinating history we always enjoy sharing. Morgan happens to work there too, so she is knowledgeable and fond of her job both there and with us on the tour. I think it's possible you maybe are confusing what you may think is over zealous or inappropriate for her actual enthusiasm for where she works and wants to share her positive experience there. We often share insider tips with our guests and they are always welcome. People don't realize how hard it is to be a tour guide and try to please everyone, not everyone can get up there day after day and do what they do. At the end of the day, everyone is doing their best and we hope people will recognize that.

Morgan was such a hoot!! We had a great time on the tour, delicious food, and learned a lot about the area, AND got great tips for places to go, things to do, more places to eat and drink. We've been on many food tours and Morgan rates up there with the best!
