We really liked the food and the restaurants but it seemed like the walking was more than advertised; we went back and forth along Thames. Chicken chicken winner winner was delicious! Good commentary and history info; Did not need to walk up to Elms during food walking tour.

My husband and I did this tour while visiting Newport for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! Definitely come hungry--we ate a ton of food. We loved the places they took us to--so much so we went back to eat at many of the restaurants again. Our favs were the burger place, chicken + biscuits and the gelato. I suggest booking this tour at the start of your trip so you have the opportunity to revisit your favorite places again! Our guides were lovely and kept the tour interesting by sharing the history of Newport. A food tour mashed up with the history of the town--it's the best of both worlds!
