Very nice tour with knowledgable and friendly staff - thank you Rachel and Carl! Our group of three did the night time snorkel and had a great time exploring the reefs at Makena Landing Beach. This was our favorite of all the snorkeling tours we took on Maui. Floating in the dark water and finding creatures with our flashlight was amazing! It wasn't scary at all, and Zephyr Adventures Maui provided wetsuits so we did not get cold (I was cold on all our other snorkel trips). The total number of people (7 tourists plus 2 staff) was perfect, and it felt much more intimate than the larger snorkel tours we did by boat with 20+ people. The night tour provided a unique experience, and we were able to see several animals and fish species we had not previously seen, including porcupine fish, octopus, big eels, jellyfish, shrimp, a very strange lobster, many different reef fish, and several sea turtles that came right up to the group and floated with us for a while. Hghly recommended!

The night time snorkel was a great experience! We saw so much marine life on our trip. 4 turtles, 2 Eels, and an octopus! An incredible personal experience I’d recommend to anyone. Give it a shot!

Loved this. Very much recommend. So beautiful to swim with the sea turtles at night. Such a different experience to snorkel under the stars. We just loved Rachel, our guide.
