We had a really good time on this tour. I did not expect the beer samples to be as large as they were, and the staff on the boat were friendly and helpful. It appeared you could have more than one sample of each beer if you wanted it. The tapas-type snacks were plentiful and well-presented. There is not a lot of seating on the boat, but it seemed like there were always seats available - it appeared most people preferred to stand and socialize. We had good weather so that was a bonus - might not be quite so much fun in the rain as there is little shelter on the deck. You can get some great photos of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline from the boat. All in all, I would recommend this tour as it is a lot of fun, whether or not you like beer.
The sailing cruise was good, but the beer tasting.......well, we ended up throwing the beers overboard, they were terrible, and we didn't fancy any of the snacks!!!
Also, not enough seating for all.
What was good ~ Friendly helpful cruise crew; weather fantastic; food okay; beer 4 good ones 2 horrible ones (matter of taste, I'm sure).
What was bad ~ At the ticket booth, two of my others travelers where told to go to Pier 16 rather than Pier 17.
That was not so good!
