If you're looking for experience that recreates the environment and emotions felt on the day of the bombing, this place will not disappoint. It will transport you back in time to the days shortly before, during, and after the tragedy. Word of warning though, it can be VERY emotional. This is NOT a light hearted experience. Do not attend if that's what you're looking for.

We didn't leave anywhere near the amount of time we needed and rushed through the museum in order to make it out by the time they closed. Make sure to leave time as there are many stories to be told.(Plan 3 hours just for the inside and that is without watching all of the videos) It was very thoughtful how they organized the before, during and after displays. It was a way to show the rest of the world what Oklahomans went through during this time of sadness in their city and how they worked together to triumph. We were there in the evening and found the lighting quite moving. People moved quietly throughout the area reflecting on what the chairs and tree symbolized.

This museum is a beautiful tribute to the victims and their families of those lost on that sad day. It tells the story from start to finish of the murrah bombing in a fasion that really tugs at the heart and tells a story of how people came together in such a terrible time.
