This narrated walk comes from books by David Dominé, who often guides groups himself. Tales involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip. The New York Times recommends this as the first thing to do during a visitor's "36 Hours in Louisville." You'll also learn about A DARK ROOM IN GLITTER BALL CITY, David's next book—out in October 2021!

Specializing in "America's Most Haunted Neighborhood," we depart from the corner of Fourth and Ormsby, at the transitional edge of the neighborhood. If you love old architecture and spooky history, this is the tour for you! If you do not like an up-and-coming neighborhood with a diverse racial make up, this tour is not for you! If you can't go 100 minutes without a bathroom, this is not for you!

Quinton did such a great job of sharing stories! Although it was a big group, we could all hear. We enjoyed the historical background, the beautiful houses, the fountain, the witches tree and the ghost stories. It was money well spent!!

It was not what was advertised at all. I had a group of teenagers and they were bored the entire time. It’s an expensive walk. Not a ghost tour.

We sorry your teens did not have a great time. Entertaining the touth of today with stories isn't as easy when they have internet and don't feel like walking. Your party booked a "walking tour" so it was as advertised and the other guest had a great time in spite of bored teenagers. Maybe this wasn't a good choice for your teens?

We take a ghost tour every vacation. We love to hear the history of the areas and past “activities” of the homes along the tour path. We just wish our guide cut down her very long stories and not bring it back to her involvement with shows she was asked to be on (show, and episode). I looked around our group and people were not looking interested after while. I feel if she would cut her stories in half - she could have interacted with the group on the tour - and heard other’s experiences as well. Maybe have added a few more homes to chat about - who knows… There were 12 people in our tour and 3 said we have to go this is too long. That is my only dislike the length of story telling. The homes along our tour were stunningly gorgeous! Wonderful architecture/ beautiful craftsmanship- things no one sees anymore. We would take this tour again as long as the stories were shortened up.
