We booked this excursion several months ago. The day before we were asked if it would work to move our time from 10:30 to 1. I said no as we had later plans. We were canceled the reason stated they were short a tour operator and Celebrity overbooked the tour. We were on Celebrity but booked directly with Viator. I know the labor shortage couldn’t be helped but I’m very upset at being canceled because preference being shown to another group.

Yes, Carolyn, I'm very sorry for your disappointment. We strive to do our best. As our tour has become more popular, sometimes we get reservations piled up from sources that we have very little control over. Some sites sell our tour without specifying a time and we also have tours sold by the Cruise ship companies up and through the night before. We strive to honor ALL requests and will work towards perfection for next season. I'm sorry you could not adjust your schedule.

Absolutely incredible tour! Not only did we get background of Ketchikan, we drove away from the tourist areas to get amazing photos. Lots of animals seen including eagles and seals. If something interesting popped up as we drove, we pulled over to get the perfect photos (like an Eagle sitting on a boat in harbor)! Highly recommend to anyone! My husband had a Canon camera with several lens and I was using an iPhone. They accommodate any type of camera and any experience level.
