The actors were fun. Some of them did a GREAT job as my children enjoyed interacting with them. The docents not in costumes also did a fantastic job. They knew so much! And fun to explore the village from the time. I would love to see them know how to interact better with the descendant children who are thrilled to share their research. It clearly makes an uncomfortable situation for the actors, but the children are so excited. It cost more than I would have liked for what we got. We have a similar museum to this in VA that costs FAR less (Frontier Culture Museum).

We saw the settlement, native American area and the mayflower. It is a beautiful walk and has a wonderful view of the water. I'd probably want to stay longer to read and take in everything because if you rush through, the price may not seem worth it. The restaurant had neat looking menu items from that time period. We weren't hungry so we skipped it. They have a great gift ship though. Worth the trip, but take your time and take in everything.

Glad to hear your enjoyed your visit. Next time, hopefully you will be able to have time to taste history with some of the 17th-century dishes that the chef has available and yes, the shopping is great - take home a local momemto from a Plimoth artisan.

Excellent activity. I would think it is a must if you have kids, but I am an older single person, and I had a great time. Top notch. In addition to villages, there are actors letting you know what life was like. It is one of the fav things I did in Cape Cod. If you have any kind of a mobility problem, let them know, they will take you between activities in a golf cart.
