The guide filled us in about many local “haunts”. She was friendly and engaging and kept us interested. She definitely made me want to plan to come back!

I wish I could give this zero stars. I book ghost tours in a lot of the cities I visit as a fun way to learn the spooky history of the area. However, this tour was awful. Unfortunately, the tour was spent walking through the worst parts of Portland, through blocks and blocks of unhoused encampments, to see two parking lots and an old hotel. My boyfriend and I left the tour early because we were scared to walk any farther with the group. I felt unsafe and wish I hadn’t wasted my money or birthday doing this.

Well this is basically a tour of how bad downtown Portland is in that area! The tour guide sunny did advise us that we would walk past some tents but the first few steps in to the tour and I wanted to turn back! We walked past a guy shooting up maybe a foot from us. The direction we started off in felt unnecessary for the tour all together and it was the most sketchy area. I couldn’t pay attention to the tour information 1. Because the group was way too big and 2. Because I was concerned for my safety for the first half of the tour. The history was very basic. The tour guide had pictures that guests had taken of things or ghosts “found” in photos but I couldn’t see anything and I’m a firm believer. I was pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this tour to anyone and I have been on a few ghosts tours. I wish I could get my money back. Sunny was nice!
