A bus picked us up at our chosen spot of Pike Place Market, and shuttled us to the main bus on 8th Ave. The bus was full but comfortable. We toured along the market and waterfront, stopped in Pioneer Square, traveled across the bridge to view the city from the other shore, saw Fremont and the troll, stopped at Fisherman’s Terminal, saw the locks and salmon ladder, then came back through the Queen Anne district.
The tour doesn’t include the Space Needle or Seattle Center but was happy to drop people there at the end. Our guide Marcia was knowledgeable and neatly avoided the worst traffic.
Understandably for a 3-hour trip, all of the stops are a little short, but it gives you an idea of things you’d like to come back to. At the end, we still had time to explore the market.
