Обзор
This is a driving tour of all the historical sites in Montgomery and then we retrace the 1965 Selma To Montgomery Voting Right March and cross The Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama.

We spend approximately 3 hours of the tour in Montgomery passing by various points of interest which include Dexter Church, Dexter King Parsonage, Gray Hound Bus Terminal, Alabama State University and the State Capitol.

From here, we are at the ending point of the Voting Rights March. We will work backwards and retrace the steps to the beginning of the historical 1965 Voting Rights March. While we retrace these steps, we will talk about the iconic individuals and places that made this such an impactful time in our history.

Jake’s knowledge of key civil and voting rights people and places was educational. We learned a lot about the march from Selma to Montgomery. Jake gave us a street by street bus tour of both cities complete with history and Jake’s personal experiences. The Lowndes Interpretive Center was a well kept secret to us. The museum is small, but something every American should visit if they are visiting the Selma. Thanks for a great tour, Jake.

We really enjoyed our tour of Montgomery and Selma with Jake. It added so much to our experience to hear about the region and history from someone who grew up here and had participated in a seminal event in the Civil Rights movement. Highly recommend this tour.

The trip was very educational. So much history. There is so much more that could be told. The places of interest need updating and more national attention. I recommend traveling there.
