Private Arctic Circle Expedition from Fairbanks

This is a small, private tour to the Arctic Circle. Passengers will be riding in a comfy 2025 Toyota Sequoia and brand new winter tires.

Scheduling on the website is a bit tricky and doesn't allow for next day returns, just keep in mind the trip will take 10-12 hours depending on weather and how much time you'd like to spend at each location.

We'll be travelling through mountain passes, river valleys, and possibly seeing the Northern Lights along the way.

This tour is flexible and allows for you to request a stop anywhere along the way to stretch your legs, take photos, or even just enjoy the views.

Pickup Time is completely customizable to work with your schedule!

The drive up the Dalton Highway with Ian was quite an experience! Awesome views and information. He is quite knowledgeable and made the experience very memorable.

I booked this tour over six months in advance. Two weeks before the tour, I was contacted and told he was increasing his rates. The new rate was almost double what we booked, but as a "courtesy" he was willing to take us for just a 25% increase! Lucky us! No thanks. What a terrible way to run a company. I understand that costs are going up everywhere, change your rates that's fine, but not for people already booked. It was like a bait and switch. I think this is actually against the Viator booking policies. And I had difficulty finding a new tour due to the late notice and fact that I had built my entire itinerary in the area around going on that particular day. However, if this is how he treats people I'm feeling like I actually dodged a bullet here.

Hello! I do apologize for having to raise my rates, but with the amount of bookings I currently have, I was unable to make ends meet at the price I had set before. I hope my recommendations for other tour operations assisted you in finding another tour that day! There's quite a few who do same day booking for Arctic Circle tours so I'm sure you found one. As a small business owner tough choices sometimes have to be made, and I apologize for the inconvenience I have caused. Have a blessed day! -Ian

Excellent guide and it was our last day in Fairbanks without seeing the lights and he found them. It was well worth it.
