So I rented/reserved a Stretch Limo for a Sunday pick-up from O'Hare to Hyatt Regency Chicago. I receive a call on Thurs/Fri prior, stating that they do not have a Limo available but they can pick-me up in an SUV - for a 15 up-charge. I pay it - what's my choice, right?
When I land at O'Hare, there is no phone message from the driver re: my airport transfer to the hotel. I call into the limo company based in New York. They show my reservation is for later that afternoon for a hotel-to-airport transfer ... ??? ... After getting passed around like an ugly baby at a family reunion, I finally reach the rep who took my 15 payment a couple of days before. She apologizes and gets a driver to call me within 5 minutes. We meet up and drive to the hotel with no problems.
But it was disconcerting to arrive at the airport expecting your transfer to the hotel only to be left hanging with no one on the phone having a clue. I'm not sure if I will go this route again.
So easy and professional. I would certainly recommend and use again.
Worked perfect! I was in the process of entering in the number to call after arrival but the driver beat me and called me. Met me exactly as agreed and had a smooth drive into downtown.
