Tour includes pre-trip assistance to help make your trip seamless. Your guide is versed in Sierra Nevada natural history; from the geologic processes that raised these mountains to the human histories of those who walked these trails before us to the fascinating plants and animals and modern science that we are still learning about today. Safety is a priority; I always carry a first-aid kit and I am certified in Wilderness First-Aid.

Krista is a gem! Truly knowledgeable about the environment and so enthusiastic. It's clear she loves her job--and she made learning about Sequoia's fun for my 15 year old teenager! She was also so considerate and helpful because we had an issue with our car running out of battery and she graciously followed us down the hill. Krista and her team are absolutely best and made our day delightful!

Oh my goodness!!! Let me just say, if I could give Krista 100+ stars I would!!! She is a phenomenal, energetic, and patient tour guide!! She went way above what we could have ever expected of this tour. She is very well educated in pretty much all things forest related (not just trees, but everything from the pine cones, different kinds of plants to the tiniest beetles and bees and more!! Even to the people from past history!) I fell in love with nature all over again because of her. She loved all our questions and did an amazing job answering them! You will not regret this tour! She took her time with me when I was climbing Morrow Rock (anxiety & vertigo kicked in but I had a goal to climb it). Our little family adored her and made this day so very extra special.

Amazing day. Really brought the day to life - we learnt so much about the park, the trees and everything that lives in the forest. We had inquisitive 10 and 11 year olds with us and their every question was answered and more! Can’t recommend highly enough.
