This was the highlight of our trip to Alaska. My entire family, 8 of us, decided to take this whale watching adventure. We were picked up by Brent at the dock in a very nice SUV. He was very nice and informative as we drove to where we would catch our luxury tour boat. Our Captain was amazing at spotting the whales and getting us to them. Our naturalist, Emma, was incredible. They had drinks and finger foods ready when we came onboard and were full of interesting tidbits of information. Emma's excitement for the whales was contagious and everyone had an incredible time. My son, 13, and nephews, 12 & 14, loved all the excitement and information given to them on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. It was truly incredible and I'm so glad we went with this company.

This was undoubtedly the highlight of our alaska cruise. Emma, our naturalist, and Jeremiah, our captain were FANTASTIC. We spent most of our time with a mama and her calf...watching them interact was amazing. The boat was so comfortable, the drinks/food great. But mostly - we learned so much! I can't say enough good things. After our first watch, we tried to book again the same day! No luck😥. Do it! Worth every stinkin' penny!

We booked this through Holland America and it might be the highlight of our trip. If you have the budget don’t scrimp on the whale watch portion of Alaska. We were picked up by a knowledgeable driver in a very comfortable SUV. Taken to Auke Bay where we boarded a small luxury boat - first one in the dock. We saw whales, sea lions, a lighthouse and the Mendenhall Glacier. My dad has mobility issues and everyone was so nice and accommodating. The captain, Jeremiah, and the naturalist, a student at the University, on board were full of great information. Truly worth the cost - I’d add especially if you are traveling with elderly parents. Seeing some of the other boats with 40 or 50 people crammed in the side, jockeying for a view made me very glad that we didn’t have to deal with that for my dad. Just amazing! Again, don’t scrimp in this part of your trip! You will be so so glad you went with Alaska Luxury Tours!
