Sailing on Biscayne Bay was the highlight of my sister's bachelorette trip to Miami.
RESERVATIONS: Seamless experience booking with TripAdvisor. Mabel and Luis reached out within 24 hours to inform us of a double-booking in the original time slot requested (Saturday 12:00-4:00 PM). We moved our reservation to later in the day (Saturday 2:00-6:00 PM) and further communication was facilitated via email.
ARRIVAL: Luis will greet you at the Pier before departure. We took a Lyft to the Dinner Key Marina and arrival couldn't be easier. There's also an option to park if needed.
BOAT: Max capacity is 6 guests. Note that pricing is not guest dependent as you're renting the entire boat regardless. There is a restroom, small dining area, and kitchen below deck. The boat has seating options in front (best for panoramic views) and back (slightly more spacious). Luis and Mabel also provide safety vests, pool noodles, and a water hammock if needed.
SAILING TRIP: We had the option to sail or swim first, and opted to sail for the first two hours, swim for one, and reserve the last hour to sail back. I'd recommend this as we warmed up on the ride out, swam and drank in No Man's Bay, and got to see a few more sights on the way back. Mabel pointed out landmarks and gave a lovely overview & history lesson of Biscayne Bay, the Miami skyline, Miami Beach, etc. She also prepared snacks (chips and salsa, cheese platter, apple slices) which were included in the pricing and came in super clutch. They provide a cooler with water, soda, and ice. We brought our own adult beverages. :)
MISC: Mabel & Luis could not be lovelier! They make an amazing husband and wife team, and even provided us with recommendations on things to do & what to order at Versailles Restaurant (our dinner afterwards).
REMINDERS: Bring cash to tip! You won't want to be hungover while on a boat, so schedule accordingly.
