We debated between companies for our last day for a jeep tour and decided on A Day In The West, who owns a few companies, so when they were full they re-booked us through Earth Wisdom Jeep Tours. We took the Mogollon Ridge tour which took us up Schnebly Hill Road to the dirt road and up to a look out point where we could see downtown Sedona, the "merry-go-round" rock formation, as well as the continuation of the trail (that was closed because it was February). Our guide, Zach, was amazing. He told us about the local trees, bushes, rock formations, etc., as well as the history of the rock formations and the vistas we were seeing.
I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Sedona. In fact, I think the best thing a new visitor could do is to take a Jeep Tour on their first day to better understand the environs, then go hike, bike, walk, etc.
This was our second trip to Sedona and I loved learning knew things about the town, the rocks, the weather, the trees, etc.
