For the most in-depth and personal experience, take a small group private tour of the Florida Everglades’ and its unique subtropical ecosystem and animals. The Alligator & Reptile Exhibit is included and takes about 45 minutes to enjoy. Important Note: Pricing is based on a per person basis; regardless of number of people booking, you are buying out the whole boat for your private tour. All ages are welcome to enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under need not be included in the guest count as there are no additional charges for this age.

We thoroughly enjoyed the airboat ride with Captain Disco, with friends and our 7 year old children. We loved the alligators, Osprey, and scenery! We also really enjoyed the wildlife exhibit, including petting a baby alligator!

My eyes were crossing from trying to choose which airboat company I wanted to use and all of the options available. Family including 2 young children were visiting from overseas. Budget is obviously important, but so was having an excellent experience. Based on previous reviews, we booked a private 60 minute tour at Sawgrass Recreation Park and it was definitely the right decision. After checking in and getting our wristbands, we were introduced to Captain Josh and taken to our fabulous airboat. We were given a safety briefing and also were asked to understand that wildlife doesn't always show up on demand but he would do the best he could. Of course! He found our first alligator right away! Told us all kinds of interesting facts. Then we went off around the gorgeous Everglades, enjoying the scenery, the wind in our hair and his skilled handling of the vehicle. He really enjoys his job and it shows. He patiently drove around and found us lots more alligators as well as bird life. He even went out of his way to avoid a rain shower on our way back. I'm sure the other group boats are wonderful too but if it's in your budget to do a private trip, I highly recommend it.
