Our guide was great! The tour was private so it was just our family and our guide. This means you can do whatever you want, stop where you want to, and don't have to wait for stragglers. Beyond this, Derek was a great guide. He knew everything about the park and was just a really cool guy. He knew all the great places to stop and useful tips and routes. It really pays to have someone who knows the park lead your way. You will not regret using this service.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Montana and stayed in Bozeman. We had never been to Montana or Yellowstone before and we wanted to make sure we made our time there worth while. I booked a private day trip with Derek several weeks in advance. I selected Yellowstone Adventure Tours because of Derek's bio I read on the web site. It said he was very familiar with Yellowstone and had a degree in Environmental Science from Montana State , so I thought he could provide us with a lot of info and a great experience. Well, Derek didn't disappoint us one bit. It was everything we had hoped for and much more. He called us a few days before our arrival to Bozeman and asked us what we really wanted to see and do while we were in the park. We shared we liked to hike and we wanted to see the well known features as well as anyplace he thought was worth seeing. He picked us up early in the morning and had the entire day planned out to accommodate our requests. It truly was a custom tour. Derek was prompt, very friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the history of the park and all the wildlife. My husband is a photographer and every time he asked Derek to stop and pull over for pictures, Derek was always accommodating. He was also very helpful in suggesting other spots to take pictures that were just amazing. Derek works as a first assist camera man in movie and TV productions so he knew where to get great shots. This made my husbands day! The lunch as well as the location he chose to have lunch was wonderful. We saw so many animals along the way and took some great hikes. We had such a great experience, we booked Derek for a second day to see more of the park. I really don't think we would have seen or experienced the park like we did if it wasn't for Derek. This was one of the best trips we have ever taken, and we travel a lot. I want to thank Derek for an amazing time and highly recommend Yellowstone Adventure Tours!!!!

My husband and I took the tour and it was great. We saw everything on our list and had an enjoyable experience mostly because of our guide Doug. He knew all the best places to view the sights from, the best photo spots. Doug filled us in with all the history and facts as we went. Thanks for a great day! Tony and Jill
