Choose your own adventure! You pick the distance (6-10 miles on average), terrain, scenery, and difficulty for a spectacular day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Abundant waterfalls, the highest peaks east of the Mississippi, and the prettiest views you'll find in the South are all at your disposal off the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the Appalachian Trail, or hidden deep Pisgah National Forest.

Price includes your guide and a picnic lunch; please specify dietary restrictions when booking. Trekking poles are provided upon request. Transportation is not included, but can be added for an additional fee (depending on availability).

We hike rain or shine! We will cancel the hike in the event of dangerous weather.

Blue Ridge Hiking Company has been in business for 13 years; we believe the trail is there for everyone at every phase of life. All guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, and knowledgeable in local history, flora, and fauna. Check out our website for more information!

Highly recommend this incredible company for your hiking needs. They were so helpful and so resourceful when planning our first trip ever to Asheville. Jenn was our guide, and she was amazing!!!! We used her for 2 half day hikes. She was incredible with my children, so intelligent and so fun. She knew so much about the city, the hike and nature. Loved every second. We did the waterfall hikes and a Mt. Mitchell hike. We would definitely use them again!!

My husband found Jennifer’s company on YouTube as we researched things to do and hiking in Asheville. We decided it would be a good idea to go with a guide as we had never hiked before, but were so ready to do so. I ended up booking Blue Ridge Hiking Company for my husband and I plus another couple as we were headed from Florida to North Carolina on a road trip. I grateful that although I reached out late (the day before the hike) to inquire about a morning hike for the following day, my group and I were accommodated so easily. I checked the website first, but came across no availability, however, it does say that if you don’t find a date online you can always contact them directly and I did by email. We got in touch, talked about what my group wanted to see and experience, settled everything via an electronic invoice, and shortly after I received all the instructions for the hike. The next day we showed up to the company office in Downtown Asheville to sign paperwork and meet our guide Lindsey. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and ready for a challenge! Thank you for taking us through Graveyard fields and showing us the beauty within.
