Our confirmation email said nothing about long wharf. Even on the ticket it doesn’t specify. On the website it is very hard to find where exactly the ferry leaves from. Not being from Boston I didn’t know there were numerous wharfs. We took the orange line to find rowes wharf only to find out we had to go long wharf. On the website it only says “Orange Line to the State stop.” But it’s not clear from there even where long wharf is on foot. If things were more clear it may be easier. As a result we missed the ferry. This even after I call a viator rep.

If the cruise wasn't so scenic, I would give this 1 star. Took the morning 9am boat out to Provincetown. We left on time but ended up getting there just before 12, a trip time of almost 3 hrs. To be fair, the company did send an email warning that the trip would take somewhat longer, but only up to 2 hrs. The return trip was even worse because the boat got delayed for an hr. but ended up getting in even later than that. Was supposed to leave on the 8pm boat and get back to Boston around 9:30. Instead, we ended up leaving around 9:30 and getting back to Boston around 11:30. I would be fine with the fact that cruises take a bit longer but don't advertise this as a 90 min. trip when it is clearly much longer than that. They also pack the boat fairly full, so try to get there somewhat early to ensure you have a seat.

Website too confusing. Booked the wrong direction of ferry despite trying to doublecheck. Never even went on the ferry
