I traveled to Scottsdale with my 21 and 18 year old sons looking for an adventurous vacation. Jose did not disappoint! I was a bit apprehensive since I never rappelled before but Jose took time to explain the safety precautions that he stringently follows for every group. I felt very safe and didn’t hesitate to “rappel on”! My boys loved it and it exceeded their adventure expectations. Jose is extremely knowledgeable about the sport of rock climbing and he is willing to share as much or as little as you want to know during your tour. We did our tour on our first day of vacation so Jose provided us many great suggested activities for the remainder of our trip. I highly recommend Epic Adventures!

My boyfriend and I were in Scottsdale for the weekend, we booked a tour with Epic Adventures to go rock climbing and rappelling and it was incredible! Would highly recommend them! We will definitely be planning another adventure the next time we are in Scottsdale!

This tour and its operator, EPIC Adventures, was fantastic. Safety was paramount and after a trial run, our tour guide had us comfortably rappelling down a 75 foot rock formation in no time. The views while rappelling are awe inspiring, so be sure to take time to breathe, and take in the natural beauty while on the way down. The toughest thing about the adventure, if you are not part mountain goat, or someone with above average upper body strength, is climbing back up the mountain after each rappel. The feeling of accomplishment you get and the exhilaration of the descent does help you forget how hard the climb back up really is. Our tour guide has many years of experience and is very patient and kind. We took this tour on the spur of the moment and are we glad we did. It is certainly a bucket list worthy experience, even if it's not on your current list......you'll certainly add it after the fact. It's a wonderful way to experience the mountains of Scottsdale up close and personal!
