This was the perfect package to get a feel for part of the city. Rode the bus several times, Angel was our favorite driver, very knowledgeable and funny. The river boat ride was a nice treat at the end of a busy day, relaxing and informative. We took advantage of the multiple entrance ticket to the tower and went once during the daylight and went back again at night. Both were breathtaking. We have done these tours in other towns and will look them up again in towns we visit in the future.

This was a wonderful deal! The ladies at the local visitors center couldn’t believe the price. My only complaint is that the buses need some work. One of them that we rode several times had some kind of film that prevented you from being able to see out of the front 2 seats on the right side. We moved when we realized our view was obstructed and we saw others doing the same. The driver had the left front seat occupied with his lunch so we gently moved it to the worthless view seat. He was out of the bus at the time because the tour hadn’t started. He was a bit upset with us when he returned and we explained that we couldn’t see out of the other windows but he was a bit stand offish the rest of the drive. Since we purchased a 3 day bus pass we interacted with several drivers and most were friendly. Our last day we spent a LOT of time waiting for the bus at various locations. The fact that it was over 100 degrees and we had to stand in the sun was a bit overwhelming. Finally one of the drivers told another couple that one of their buses had broken down so we had to wait 30 minutes at each stop. It would be really helpful if you had some type of tracking available on an app so we could see where the bus was located. This way we could get to the stop in time or stay and do more shopping, etc since the bus was still 10 minutes away. As it was we sprinted to the bus stop in time for the next pickup and it must have arrived and left a few minutes early because we waited over 20 minutes for the next one. We were at the market and could have enjoyed that time shopping but were afraid to go back to the market in case it was just running a few minutes late and we would miss it. Perhaps set pick up times and if the bus arrived early they could sit at the stop for 2 minutes would be a good idea. Realistically that is our only complaint. Everything else was wonderful and we would recommend this to others visiting San Antonio.
