We'll set sail from Safeharbor Sunroad Marina on Harbor Island on San Diego Bay, we often see Sea Lions and occasionally Dolphins frolicking, and we always have a fantastic time! White wine, soda, water are available on board complimentary

For a private sailing experience for you and your friends only, feel free to book all 6 seats

If you don't see a date scheduled that your interested in, reach out! We sail daily and can usually accommodate you!

  • Each person regardless of age MUST have a paid ticket due to strict Coast Guard regulations. Extra person's regardless of age that arrive and put us over our passenger limit will be denied boarding.
  • Be sure to follow the link under "Special Instructions" on your Viator ticket after booking for a detailed map, photos, directions & video of our meeting point.
  • Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship or flight
  • Minimum drinking age is 21 years
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • When combining reservations, each out to us directly We will do our best to accommodate pairing up mixed groups, but may not be able to due to strict Coast Guard regulations regarding passenger capacity per boat.

Patrick was an AMAZING captain. He is very knowledgeable of the city and very personable. The 2 hours on the boat was the highlight of our weekend trip to San Diego. Highly recommend!!

Our birthday sail with San Diego Sailing Experiences was exactly what we needed to unwind after a busy week. Stepping away from the city’s hustle and bustle and gliding along San Diego’s bay and coastal waterways was calming to say the least. Heads up, parking can be a bit tricky—Gate 1 is the only unmarked gate at the marina—However once you find Gate 2, you’re in the right place. Be prepared to pay $20 for parking. The restrooms at the marina are available before you board, but there’s also a restroom onboard, so no worries there. We set sail at 3 PM for a peaceful 2-hour trip with Rick as our Captain. Capt Rick’s passion for sailing was obvious which made our experience all the more memorable. Combined with San Diego’s perfect weather, this sail was simply unforgettable. We brought our own snacks, but wine and soda were also available, adding a nice touch to the trip. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this is a “must-do” experience. Also, if you’d like to leave a tip for your Capt and forget to keep cash on hand no worries as ApplePay is accepted. If you’re local, definitely add it to your weekend “to-do” list. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience out on the water with miss captn' Bree! We first had a little detour because she helped a stranded guy on a jetski and we towed him back to the docks. She was very kind and personable and even saved a little tired moth! 10/10 experience with her and I would recommend if you're wanting a great tour and a good time
