Our guide, Glen, was GREAT! The tour was a quick run through some of the scenic parts of town, which is good but basically means you need extra time to return and see things again, if there was an extra 15-20 minutes at each stop it would probably be enough, but you’re rushed through to make it back by the end. I would suggest doing your own sight seeing if you have just a day in town, visit the info centre and pick the most important things to you because this tour just left me wanting more time to return to where I’d already been.

Thank you for the high praise of your tour guide, Glenn! Many visitors comment that he does a fantastic job; he's been with us for over 20 years! We also appreciate your comments of how the Ultimate SLC Tour is a great overview of the city, as that is exactly what we aim for. Over the past 40 years of offering Salt Lake City tours we have refined and perfected it to become the most satisfying tour for the greatest number of people. There will always be few who want a shorter tour and few who want a longer tour, but our goal is to hit the 'sweet spot' for the majority of visitors. We found that 3.5 hours in length plus an optional meal stop is the ideal balance. The Ultimate SLC Tour is "the BEST FIRST thing to do" for visitors as it gives them a great overview, as you commented, and then they can see where they'd like to return and spend more time. And for those who don't have all day but still want to experience the best of the city, this tour is perfect for their needs as well. We appreciate your patronage and hope to see you again in the future!

What can I say, this was so much more than we expected. Wynn, our tour guide, was first rate and he knew soooo much about SLC. We went to The Place, to the Cathedral of the Madelene, The Historic John Young Memorial Building, Temple Square and saw an organ recital in the Tabernacle, went to a fantastic lunch at the Lion, toured the Capitol Building and got picked up and dropped off from our hotel. This tour was so informative, fun, and a combination of walking and riding and seeing so much. I cannot express my thanks enough to Wynn for his humor, knowledge, personality, and kindness during this tour. You can tell he loves this city and was able to share so much about the incredible history and was able to answer all of our questions. Everyone on our tour loved him and the entire trip was fantastic. You really should do this!!

It can be overwhelming to be in a city for the first time with limited time. How do you prioritize? Since we only had a day in SLC, we decided to spend the money ($50 each) and book a City Tour. It was totally worth it. How else can you cover the entire city and touch the major highlights – along with a wealth of snippets of information shared by our tour guide, Glenn. The tour lasted from 10-2:30. We stopped for lunch at the Lion Pantry part of the former residence of Bringham Young. We were a bit skeptical of the stop, but surprisingly, the food was really good. I’d recommend foregoing dessert and getting two dinner rolls with honey butter! The Swiss potato soup was amazing and filling! Our tour included listening to an organ recital at the LDS Tabernacle and a stop at the Utah State Capitol building. Overall, it was a fantastic and efficient way to get to know a city in such a brief amount of time.
