DO NOT BOOK WITH City Sights in SLC!! My family and I are loyal, return Viator customers. We have taken City bus tours booked through Viator in 6 States. We took the 2.5 hour “ULTIMATE Salt Lake City Tour” Like all our tours, I read up on the description of the stops and route so we can really enjoy the tour. I have never written a negative review for any of our bus or walking tours anywhere until now. On the “What to Expect” Section on the tour description, they have 16 items listed. 9 of those attraction are listed as “Pass By”, Those were great, no issues at all. My HUGE problem is the SEVEN stops I was expecting. Of the seven stops, we only went to 3 and 1of those was not as described. We did not plan to go to these places during our day of touring as luckily the places that we wanted to visit were on this tour, They are listed very clear on the website (ex. #7 Council Hall 2 minutes. Admission Ticket Free). We completely missed 4 stops all together and the 5th one was at a great location that I was looking forward to hearing about, but we stopped with the description of the Best Gift Shop in SLC?? After the first stop, I went to our driver and asked her why we were not stopping at the advertised locations. This was our conversation. “Did you get your tickets through the website on Viator” ? “Me “Yes, Ma’am” Well, that is your problem, we no longer do that tour that is on there”. Me “really? Why are you advertising it”? “We have emailed Viator and called them to tell them to change it and take it off, but we cant reach them”. Me “ Well, I would think that since you are getting a good amount of money from people wanting the tour that they booked with YOU regardless, it needs to be advertised properly. Maybe stop taking money from Viator until you figure things out because I wasted my money on this tour”. “Well, ya its Viator, its nothing we can do about it” Me “ Yes ma’am you can, at least confirm the route before leaving or something, this is literally a bait and switch. You are utilizing Viator for their advertising and bookings and not giving the advertised tours and we don’t find out until we are 30 minutes into a ride”. I apologize for the long review, but I feel that I would want to know this if I was contemplating choosing a tour in SLC. would suggest to anyone wanting to take a city tour, DO NOT use this company, don’t waste your money as we did. You can do the same tour with Siri in the car. Don’t hate Viator, they are a great company, Have fun! after changing our plans around, we returned the next day and had a great time.

We are sorry that you read an 3 year old description of another tour that was offered. Your money was refunded as you know. Viator did not remove the description and erroneously left it on their website. We cannot be responsible for their mistakes.
