Coachella Valley Preserve
Here your adventure makes it's first stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world. Here you will walk over a bridge that straddles the actual faultline. 30 minutes are spent here where there is about a half mile trail you can optionally take with your guide. Restrooms are also located here before we venture far into the wilderness.
2
San Andreas Fault
We travel by Hummer into the mouth of a canyon that was formed by the San Andreas Fault. Here the adventure in your Hummer begins and we follow a road many Jeeps will need to return. 1.5 billion year old rocks are in this canyon that date back to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! The scenery is mind-bending as you see the tortured rock formations beneath the cobalt blue skies of the high desert.

I went on this tour today & had the best time! Gary was the guide & shares his in depth & constantly growing knowledge of the landscape with such care & appreciation for it. He is perfect & a true natural with his presentation & has a great sense of humor too. He was so easy going & we had quite a few photo ops during our adventure. On the way back he played some great music which blended with our surroundings in the right way. It was so cool! I could’ve toured with him all day & stayed completely entertained. The company itself is outstanding & Jeff adds to the top notch service. I look forward to another adventure with them!

Thanks for coming along with us for our famous San Andreas fault tour! Gary has been a guide doing this for many years and you were lucky to be able to have him on board as your guide. No doubt he had a great musical playlist for you because in his spare time he is also a great singer and guitarist in his own band.

Our guide Zach was very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the area. Enjoyed going remote places normal vehicles could not.
