Spent the long Labor Day weekend in San Diego, as we do every year, and this year we decided to take the Ghost & Gravestones Tour. We have done the Hop On & Hop Off tour with the Trolley Company several times, so we knew that we wouldn't be disappointed with this tour offered through them. We boarded our trolley at 8:30 with our hosts Irene Amy Strong & Wyatt Earp. It was explained before hand by "Amy" that this tour was more informational/historical than scary, but taking it after dark did add a bit of a scary element. This tour was approximately 1.5 hrs in length, possibly shorter since we weren't able to go into our next to last stop at the Whaley House (tented for termites), but we didn't feel as though it was dragged out. Very informative so if you like history, as ghost stories, this tour is right up your alley!

The stories told by the guide were Interesting and added to the experience. More time needed to walk around and explore a little on your own.

Our tour guide made the experience fun. We were disappointed that we were not able to enter the Whaley house. This was the reason we chose this tour. An update to the website would be helpful. For those that are new to the area, it is a bit confusing on how to check in. There is a kiosk that is not mentioned where you have to check in. Also. You have to wait in a specific area to board. This was not mentioned. When the tour concluded, it would have been helpful to know in which direction we could go in order to get back to where we initially started. A 3 is given based on the fact that we did not get entry to the Whaley house.
