It feels like I went on a different tour than the other reviewers. I did appreciate that the tour went to so many different areas from La Jolla to Coronado, Balboa Park, Old Town and the Gaslamp, etc. As a recent transplant to San Diego, I felt there were many things our tour guide said that did not match my experience and weren't very flattering about the city. There was so much more information that could have been shared about the places that we visited. Instead, all we were told was how expensive the homes were in the areas we visited in Jolla and Coronado, how expensive everything is and how ridiculous that is, and how most people only live in San Diego for a few years because it takes all of their money. Not sure if our guide was just having a bad day but her negativity about San Diego was an incredible downer and really surprising since tour guides generally like the cities they live in. She also spent a lot of time discussing the controversy surrounding the cross at the military memorial at Mt. Soledad, and then repeatedly said that she didn't think it was a big deal, not really allowing for others to have differing opinions to her. It became really difficult to enjoy the places we visited as the tour progressed. I only booked this tour through TripAdvisor because it was given a five start rating, but honestly I really don't understand

Hello Pamela,
I'm sorry you didn't fully enjoyed the Tour. We try to give as much information as possible during this short period of time and that's why we also give an information guide, with very detailed information about the city and places that we will be seeing.
We give information that we think are important to be noticed if you are new in San Diego, those are facts, and it doesn't mean that we don't like our city, or that we are negative about it. All our tour guides love San Diego, and love what they are doing.
Im sorry you felt that way, let me know if there is anything we can do to make your experience better.
Thank you,
