We have been to San Francisco before, but never had visited the Castro. Wanting to get the most out of our limited time there, we decided to book a walking tour of the area. We were EXTREMELY lucky to book a tour with Cruisin' the Castro. Kathy was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made what could have been a very pedantic tour of the area into a group of friends who wandered the area together, sharing knowledge and life experiences to make the day a very memorable and enlightening time. If you are considering visiting the area, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Cruisin' the Castro. You won't regret it.

Kathy was a brilliant guide and made the walking tour funny and personal...no question was silly...she gave us some great history on the Castro area as well as an insight into the struggles the likes of Harvey Milk and his supporters went through. This is a great tour for straights, gays...anyone that has an interest in San Francisco's colourful history. I would highly recommend this tour!

A great tour of the Castro with a very knowledgable guide in Kathy. Very easy pace with lots of stops and opportunities for questions and answers. This rated as the highlight of our time in San Fran and well worth the time and money to do.
