I organized a small group of colleagues to attend the historical walking tour of the Castro with Kathy this past weekend. She was engaging, passionate, and very informative about the history and politics around the Castro. She really cares about her community and having the chance to walk through with someone so connected was a great opportunity. She leads the tour with great humor and insight, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking who does not know about the history of the LGBTQ community in SF.

This tour is absolutely 100% worth your time. I moved to SF about a year ago, but I've been trying to do some tourist-y things outside of my neighborhood in order to learn more about local history, and this tour was perfect for just that. I go out to eat/shop in the Castro with some regularity, but Kathy's tour revealed so much to me about the city, the Castro, and LGBTQ+ history that I might have otherwise never known. We saw so much in such a short amount of time, and Kathy was great about answering questions and getting us involved in the tour. She even made it a point to write down and use everyone's names. She really took the time to get to know the group, which made it that much more special. And I was happy to be learning from someone who is clearly a pillar in the community—Kathy is actively involved in the Castro community, and her passion and ties to the neighborhood shine through. I cannot recommend this tour enough!
