Really enjoyed this tour - great price for a tour that felt like walking around with a friend. Limited amount of walking, and lots of information - definitely recommend!

If there's one thing you must do in SF, it's Kathy's tour! Gay or straight; her passion, knowledge and respect of those men and women who have paved the way for inclusion and civil rights for all is humbling. It's the personal pieces of information that you'll appreciate, like the location of the start of the Quilt project, the colourful AIDS mural you could just walk past and ignore; or the tiny Pink Triangle park and memorial wedged between the busy, noisy streets for LGBT victims persecuted and murdered during the Nazi era. You might think you know Castro but you'll know it a whole lot better after Kathy takes you around. She starts as a tour guide and ends up being a friend. Thank You.

Although i've been to SF many times, this was my first visit to the Castro District. Kathy gave us a tour of the area and provided LOADS of information about the history,the LBGTQ heritage of the area, and the human rights campaign. The information and discussion was interesting, broadening, and moving. I highly recommend this tour!
