This is a terrific tour for anyone visiting San Francisco or for anyone who lives in SF and wants to know more about their community. Tour guide Kathy is a wonderful knowledgeable person who has lived in the Castro for at least a decade. She knows the history of the community as well as the history of human rights in her country. I can't recommend this tour enough. Other people in our tour group today were interested and enthusiastic and a pleasure to be with. Take this tour - you'll love it!

I had some very good friends come to visit me in SF and they found this great tour! We all got tickets and it was fun and, more importantly, educational. Kathy was a great tour guide calling upon her 20 years in the Castro and 12 years doing the tour. You could really tell this was something she cares deeply about. We booked two places on this 2-hour walking tour before our visit last month, and it turned out to be a great experience. Kathy is a walking encyclopedia of local gay history and really brought the many local characters and activists to life. She also has a warm and engaging manner so it's a real pleasure exploring the area with her. This tour is an absolute must for visitors to this historic centre of LGBT+ life.
