Kathy's enthusiasm and passion for this area of town shines thru as she takes you around teaching and entertaining you with her knowledge and humor. We learned so much about the history and so many people that have fought so hard to be where we are today. Seeing the AIDS quilt was quite touching. We very much enjoyed sharing some time with her on the tour. A visit to Castro without the tour wouldn't have been quite as beneficial.

A two hour walking tour that was over before we knew it! Kathy, our tour guide, hit on all the big spots in the Castro while teaching us LGBTQ history in the area. This is the perfect tour for you if you enjoy educational travel. This tour gives you the opportunity to walk around the Castro neighborhood while learning the history behind it.

Went on the Castro tour today and what a fabulous experience! My preconceptions of the Castro as 'another gay ghetto' were totally shattered by our amazing tour guide, Kathy. If you have any interest in the history of this area then this is for you, or alternatively it will give you a fantastic introduction to the area. We even bumped into a collaborator of Harvey Milk's who Kathy brought over for a chat - a really special moment. What was also great was that Kathy made time to introduce all of the group to each other at the beginning of the tour. A fascinating (and at times emotional) introduction to this vibrant area of San Francisco.
